My suitcase is finally unpacked from Tucson. I did not buy much stuff there this year, but I met a lot of great people.
As you know, I teach jewelry classes annually in Tucson Gem and Mineral show. This year I was teaching at TEP.
| The weather was nice, warm and sunny, sometimes windy (yes, it was a little challenging but fun:)) |
| Three talented instructors-"Chain Maille Lady" Lauren Andersen, Lena Bugrimenko, Irina Wilson. |
| Deb, Alice, Shawn, and Ray are taking my "Tree of Life" pendant class. I had fun teaching this class! |
| It's always nice to see a student from the last year. Helen also took my class "tree of Life". Very good job! |
| Irina Wilson (on the right) is teaching Celia bead embroidery. |
| And now, Celia was taking my "Catch a Gem Pendant" class. Well done, Celia! |
Fay (on the right) is now jewelry making expert. Right, Fay?
| Noshi made her first ever piece of jewelry! |
| Sally, Cheryl, and Gloria are making wire woven bracelets. |
| Teachers not only teach, they also learn. Lauren is taking Irina's bead embroidery class. |
| Dale "Cougar" Armstrong is busy with 7 students:) |
| Love these two teachers: always funny Meredith Arnold and Bea Grob. |
| Dr.Ray is taking Meredith Arnold's class "metal etching". I want to try this technique too... some day. |
Can't wait till the next February to meet great teachers and talented students!
Part 1 is
here.

Seems like you had a lot of fun :)
So interesting!
Great post! I wish I was there with you ladies :)
I had a fabulous time, and learned so much. I have made several "Trees of Life" adding gem stones and beads to the "branches". They look fabulous. Need to learn more and more. Thank you so much!!!
Oh, this is so great to meet again. I am so happy for you, guys!
